Vision Adventures - Short term mission trips - since 1998
Vision Adventures takes the visiting group and combines it with a team of nationals for the whole trip to create an opportunity for connection and understanding unlike any other short-term mission experience. The first few days are spent undergoing a wilderness challenge that pushes participants to deepen their walk with the Lord and cements relationships in the whole team. This creates an atmosphere which will deepen the impact of the following days of service and outreach both in their own lives and in the scope of the work done during trip as well as the application in their day-to-day life of what was learned during the trip.

Why go? Because short - term missions are about:
Relationship - by connecting with local believers and meeting people from other cultures we encourage each other in our walk with God
Faith - in stepping out we see God´s provision and have opportunities for growth individually and as a group that would not happen otherwise; we get to share in the blessing of being part of what God is doing in and through us.
Perspective - through experiencing other ways of living we develop vision, compassion, and a deeper understanding of our own culture.
Impact - by obeying and participating God works in and through us with results beyond what we can see or imagine.
Our particular model of short - term mission experiences includes the following elements
Orientation - contact between the missionary and the team that will go provides insight into the particular project and direction in preparation for the cultural experience and the opportunity for growth. 2-3 sessions are carried out before even leaving the US as well as teaching material for the group leader to prepare the team for the experience.
Integration - upon arriving in country, the team spends 2 - 3 days in an adventure alongside local team members to integrate them seamlessly into one community that will then carry out the project
Connection - the specific project, whether that is participating as staff in a camp or youth outreach or construction, is focused on getting to know the local community, earning their trust, and sharing Christ´s love on a personal basis.
Application - time is set apart during and especially at the end of the trip as well as after returning home to distill lessons learned, hear each other´s hearts, and find ways to take this learning in an impactful way back into everyday life.
